Condition:

The work is unlined and retains the original stretchers. The surface of the work is dirty and there are frame abrasions along the extreme outer edges of the canvas. There is surface cracking throughout and faint stretcher bar marks in the outer margins. There appears to be a small repair to the canvas beneath the seated figure at lower center which is likely original and possibly repaired in the artist's studio. Under UV: there do not appear to be signs of inpaint. The lot is sold in the condition it is in at the time of sale.
